Baby’s Best Beginnings – Ayurvedic Postpartum Care

Baby’s Best Beginnings courses feature Ayurvedic Postpartum Care and Nutrition instruction recorded by the late Ysha Oakes in 2014.  The remarkable webinars and handouts in these courses teach you the basics of how to take care of postpartum mothers and their newborns using the principles and practices of Ayurveda.

We offer two levels of this course:

Our Baby’s Best Beginnings Foundations Course is a self-study program in Ayurvedic Postpartum Care that anyone can take.  Although it contains the same material that we offer professionals, many moms, grandmas, and others who have taken it say that it has utterly changed their way of looking at postpartum care.  It includes:

  • An online classroom with all webinars and handouts in one place
  • 12 hours on Ayurvedic Postpartum Care and Nutrition
  • 12 hours on basic Ayurveda and Ayurvedic Nutrition
  • Self-guided learning – no mentors, no quizzes, no Certificate of Completion

Baby’s Best Beginnings Foundations Description  $89.00

Recommended to all students who take this home study course! Please also purchase our treasured downloadable books on postpartum care entitled, Touching Heaven: Tonic Postpartum Care and Recipes with Ayurveda, also by Ysha Oakes.  The webinars are meant to be accompanied by these books.  For those who purchase this course now, we offer the books for only $22.50 (normally $30 in our Bookstore).  Order the discounted book from inside the Baby’s Best Beginnings classroom after you register.

Our Baby’s Best Beginnings Practitioner’s Course is a mentored program in Ayurvedic Postpartum Care that is  intended for Ayurvedic practitioners, as well as birth-workers and healthcare professionals who want to add Ayurvedic postpartum care to their professional offering.  It includes:

  • An online classroom with all materials in one place
  • Over 40 hours of instruction, handouts, quizzes and study guides
  • The guidance of a qualified Mentor who is also a professional trained and practicing Ayudoula and Ayurvedic Practitioner
  • A Letter of Completion for those who complete all of the classes and graded coursework with the guidance of a Mentor

To become a professional Ayurvedic postpartum care provider through our program, we require that you are a certified Ayurvedic practitioner, healthcare or birthworker professional, or that you enroll in a traditional DONABAI, or CAPPA postpartum Doula program before taking our program.  The valuable insights gained from our Ayurvedic approach when combined with the traditional postpartum training can greatly enrich and expand your professional offering, but our program does not complete all the requirements for a well-rounded professional practice at this time — it builds on and enhances what you already know.

Cant WaitIf you can’t wait to start the Professional Program. . .We still have to create all the web links and pay buttons for this new approach, BUT if you want to get started right away, please purchase the Baby’s Best Beginnings Foundations Home Study course. If you purchase the Baby’s Best Beginnings Foundations course now, we’ll give you $76 credit toward the Professional course fee.
